New Media Literacy Project

New Media Literacy Project is allowing student to become better thinkers. The allow give the challenge to distinguish between gossip, opinion, and raw messages. They given the opportunity to identify the facts that will allow to become informed citizens and consumers in society. With so much information available from the web, it important for students to develop critical thinking skills.

The students will become journalist, and historian. The will engaging in several different education experience from one project. They will be able to take information and decide what they consider to be of importance.

  1. Timeka, I didn't think of this assignment in the sense of the students being challenged to think about information and process it on their own and determine if it is gossip, opinion or factual data, however upon reading your interpretation I completely agree! Great Job!
